Ya, about the only pointer I would have is to try and minimize reflections. Don't record *in* a closet, but opening a closet door full of clothes adds a nice large absorber to the room. For a resourceful and temporary setup, use thick blankets, quilts, even duvets if you can.

If you'll be doing this a lot, treating your room is nice. Don't think you have to cover every inch of the room, either. Even 50% coverage of large reflective surfaces makes a huge difference.
