Material Quality:
iRig Mic is made up of really good quality material with the exception microphone wire. In my opinion the wire should be little bit thicker as compared it its original thickness. Mic is made up of metal and this metal surface provides a really nice grip to your hand.

iRig Mic comes with a 6-foot cable that ends in a plug that uses 3.5mm standard headphone jack to connect to your IOS device. iRig mic also comes with a carrying case which you can use to place your mic when you are done with your recording stuff. A clamp for iRig mic is also included inside the box which can be used for attaching this mic to mic stand . IK Multimedia also provides free recording apps that can be used for editing your sound recording and for applying sound effects.
Recording Experience:
iRig mic works with a number of recording apps . I used iRig mic with iPhone built in recording app and it worked really well with it and I have also used this iRig mic with camera app for video recording. The best thing that I liked about recording with iRig mic was the live monitoring of what I was recording and this live monitoring thing worked with all the applications.
Using iRig mic with IK Multimedia's own applications was a really good experience but it took me some time to learn use of these applications. These application are having a lot of options for those people who are into professional sound editing stuff .
I have also tested this mic with my with my MacBook Pro, I used Audacity for recording and it also works GarageBand App.
Talking about the quality of this microphone is the most important part of this review. Honestly I was very much satisfied from the quality of recording of this microphone and the microphone quality became much better when I applied some effects using iRig Recorder App.
